Ahi Poke

Spicy Ahi Poke

  1. First thought that comes to mind: I always thought it was spelled poki
  2. Great for: A poke bowl
  3. Inspiration: Hawaii
  4. Tips & Tricks: Do not let it over marinate
  5. Pairs well with: Sapporo

1 pound fresh tuna steak

2 green onions

½ cup of lite soy sauce

1 tablespoon of sesame oil

½ tablespoon of sesame seeds

½ tablespoon of siracha

½ tablespoon of ginger

Pinch of red pepper



  1. Slice tuna in half inch cubes. If it is hard to cut, pop it in the freezer for 15 minutes.
  2. Chop green onions.
  3. Grate ginger on a micro plane.
  4. Combine al the ingredients together and mix with the cubed tuna.
  5. Let it refrigerate for 1-4 hours.
  6. Salt if needed.
